A village is a community with small population ranging from few hundreds to few thousands. It is smaller than a city and generally cut off from city. The typical village was small, consisting of perhaps 5 to 30 families. A village map is a diagrammatic representation of an area of village land showing physical features. The scale of a map is the ratio of distance on ground compared to distance shown on the map. Village map represents the detailed location address of a particular village in India.
